Let’s actually start with what AI is. To fully understand ChatGPT we need to first understand AI (Artificial intelligence).

The mathematician Alan Turing is said to be the founding father of artificial intelligence and modern cognitive Science. After world war two he asked a very interesting question (Can machines think? – Alan Turing, 1950) 

At its core, AI is the branch or subject of computer science that aims to answer Turing’s question in the affirmative. It is the endeavour to replicate or simulate human intelligence in machines.

So how does AI work?

Basically, it uses machine learning which is a subfield of artificial intelligence, which is broadly defined as the capability of a machine to imitate intelligent human behaviour. It uses methods that leverage data to improve performance on some sets of tasks. 

It is seen as a part of artificial intelligence. Collects data on online human activity so that when someone else is searching for the same product or research. Suggestions for what you are looking for on the internet are already there. This helps the user access information much faster. This is where AI Comes in. 

AI going forward will help humans access and understand information better as it can also draw up an image of what a user is looking for. One can ask current AI Tools anything and it will give you more or less an accurate depiction of what was asked. AI Currently is in its infancy stage at the current moment but every day it is evolving and getting smarter.

If you search Youtube about AI or ChatGPT you will see that people around the world are already creating their own websites using ChatGPT/AI and making revenue online just by using AI to push online content to create revenue.

So what is ChatGPT?

Well to my understanding ChatGPT is a conversational AI System that is based on (Generative Pre-trained Transformer). 

A Generative Pre-Trained Transformer (GPT) is a language model relying on deep learning that can generate human-like texts based on a given text-based input. 

A user “feeds” the model with a sentence, and the transformer creates coherent paragraph-based information extracted from publicly available datasets.

The Capabilities Of ChatGPT

• It is capable of generating human-like responses to text input. Allowing it to engage in natural language conversations with users.

• ChatGPT can generate responses on the fly allowing it to have more dynamic and varied conversations.

• It has a vast knowledge base about anything you ask it and is able to respond to a wide range of topics.

• You can literally ask ChaGPT to explain itself and how it works etc.

Here are some more examples of what else it can do:

It can generate sound or video or images based on what you ask it. ChatGPT Has an in-depth understanding of written and spoken words that gives it a wide range of capabilities to either explain quantum mechanics for example writing poems about anything to even publishing fully written articles on different topics or subjects.

However, currently, ChatGPT is still in its early stages and has its limitations; it can’t deal with concepts that are too recent. World events that have occurred in the past year will be met with limited knowledge and the model can produce false or confused information occasionally.
